We provide service and support to the following organizations:
Hawk Helps Community Initiative
Hawk Helps is the community outreach arm of Hawk Law Group, dedicated to making a positive impact in the Augusta, GA, and Aiken, SC, areas. Through sponsorships, donations, and hands-on involvement, we support various local events and programs.
Key initiatives include the annual Bookbag Bash, providing essential school supplies to students, and our upcoming holiday event, Season of Giving, aimed at bringing joy and assistance to families in need during the festive season. Together, we strive to uplift and support our community throughout the year.
Bookbag Bash
The Hawk Law Group Bookbag Bash is a community event designed to provide free school supplies to local students from kindergarten to 12th grade. The event is held annually in July at the Bell Auditorium. In 2024, we helped prepare over 1000 students for a successful school year with basic school supplies as well as provided free family entertainment at the event.
Brenda’s Angels
Brenda’s Angels is dedicated to supporting the welfare and financial needs of those affected by pancreatic cancer. Our organization supports their commitment to funding research and advancing education about pancreatic cancer, aiming to create meaningful change in the community. They are based in Aiken, SC and are the only support group within 150 miles for pancreatic cancer.
Since 2022, Hawk Law Group has provided complimentary bottles of water for the players and attendees of the Brenda’s Angels Tennis Tournament held annually in late April.
Children’s Place, Inc.
Children’s Place, Inc., located in Aiken, SC, is a dedicated organization focused on supporting the well-being and development of children and families in the community. The center offers a range of services, including early childhood education, therapeutic interventions, and family support programs. With a team of caring and skilled professionals, Children’s Place, Inc. aims to create a nurturing environment where children can thrive and families can receive the assistance they need.
In addition to Hawk Law Group being a sponsor, attorney Kip McAlister has participated as a server in their annual Celebrity Waiter Night event for the past several years.
Walk MS Augusta
Walk MS Augusta is an event that unites the Multiple Sclerosis (MS) community in the largest gathering of its kind, dedicated to raising funds and awareness. This event is part of the initiative that has successfully raised $1 billion to go towards finding a cure. While there are no registration fees or fundraising minimums for participants, Walk MS provides plenty of resources to help raise funds for the event for those who are interested.
Attorney Shawn Merzlak and his family are longtime supporters of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. In 2024, they joined Team Mooney for the Walk MS Augusta event and raised over $30,000.
The Bell Auditorium
The Bell Auditorium, located in the heart of Augusta, Georgia, is a premier venue known for hosting a diverse range of events, from concerts and fight nights to charity functions. This state-of-the-art arena features 1,100 premier seats, luxury suites and boxes, along with an expanded selection of food and beverage offerings.
Hawk Law Group is a Proud Partner of the Bell Auditorium as part of our way to support diverse cultural offerings of our community. The firm’s annual Bookbag Bash is also held at the Bell Auditorium.
Hope Women’s Center
Hope Women’s Center, located in Grovetown, GA, is dedicated to providing comprehensive support and care for women in the community. The center offers a wide range of services, including medical care, counseling, and educational resources, all aimed at empowering women to make informed decisions about their health and well-being. With a compassionate and professional staff, Hope Women’s Center is committed to creating a supportive environment where women can access the resources they need to thrive.
In 2024, Hope Women’s Center held their first Mom Fest event which Hawk Law Group supported through a donation to purchase car seats for expecting mothers.
Gregg Park Youth Sports
Gregg Park Civic Center, located in Graniteville, SC, is a community facility offering a variety of recreational and social activities for residents of all ages. The center features amenities such as fitness facilities, sports courts, and meeting rooms, providing a versatile space for events, gatherings, and wellness programs. Committed to enhancing the quality of life in the community, Gregg Park Civic Center is a place where individuals and families can come together to stay active, socialize, and participate in enriching activities.
Attorney Kip McAlister coaches his son’s Dixie Youth baseball team and as a team sponsor, Hawk Law Group is able to provide uniforms to players, cover league expenses and continue to improve the baseball fields at Gregg Park.
The Boobie Queen Co.
Boobie Queen Company, founded with a mission to empower breast cancer survivors, creates unique and personalized ‘Boobie Crowns’ that celebrate strength and resilience. Through their Boobie Crowns and BreastRest retreats, they bring joy and confidence to those who have bravely faced breast cancer, embodying the spirit of empowerment and support.
Attorney Chace Hawk, a key supporter of Boobie Queen Company, is married to its founder, Whitney. Known affectionately as the ‘Boobie King,’ Chace is deeply involved in advancing Whitney’s mission and supporting her initiatives. The Hawk Law Group proudly sponsors the annual ‘Birdies for Boobies’ golf tournament each May, contributing to the ongoing efforts to raise awareness and support for breast cancer survivors.
American Red Cross
The American Red Cross of East Central Georgia is committed to providing compassionate support during emergencies through disaster relief, blood donations, and health services. Their dedicated volunteers and staff work tirelessly to alleviate human suffering and strengthen communities across the region, embodying the Red Cross mission of aiding those in need.
Ronald McDonald House Charities Augusta
Ronald McDonald House Charities of Augusta provides a comforting home-away-from-home for families with critically ill children, offering support and resources during challenging times. Their dedicated team creates a nurturing environment where families can focus on their child’s recovery while receiving essential services and community support.
The Hawk Law Group supports RMHC Augusta through sponsorships for their various fundraising events, such as Wine, Women & Shoes and the Red Shoe Golf Classic.
