Hawk Law Group is proud to add trial attorney A. Keith “Kip” McAlister, Jr. to The Group.
Before joining Hawk, Kip worked in private practice throughout South Carolina and Georgia, representing individuals suffering catastrophic injuries and wrongful death cases, including victims of nursing home neglect and medical malpractice. He also has helped individuals and companies navigate governmental and other civil actions in state and federal court.
Over his decade-long career, Kip has gained invaluable experience in a number of practice areas including personal injury, motor vehicle accidents, toxic torts, general construction, lender liability, premises liability, and criminal law.
Kip earned his Juris Doctor from the Charleston School of Law in 2009, where he served as Student Bar Association Senator and on the Executive Leadership Council. Before law school, he graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Presbyterian College, where he played football and baseball.
Near the beginning of his career, Kip served as the Assistant Solicitor to the Honorable J. Strom Thurmond, Jr. of the Second Judicial Circuit in Aiken, S.C.
He is admitted to practice in South Carolina, Georgia, U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Georgia, and U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of South Carolina.
Born in nearby Edgefield, S.C., McAlister lives with his family in Aiken.
