Adam King joins Hawk Law Group after a distinguished career in law, including six years of service with the District Attorney’s Office for the Augusta Judicial Circuit. During his tenure, Adam prosecuted felonies and misdemeanors in Richmond, Columbia, and Burke County, gaining invaluable insight into the workings of the criminal justice system.
A 2005 graduate of Vanderbilt University Law School, Adam was an active member of the Mock Trial Team, honing his litigation skills and preparing for his future in the legal profession. Prior to his law degree, Adam earned his bachelor’s degree from Furman University in 2002, graduating cum laude and being involved in various extracurricular activities, including membership in the Sigma Chi Fraternity and the Pi Sigma Alpha Honor Society. Adam’s academic pursuits also took him overseas, with terms spent studying in Versailles, France, and interning in Washington, D.C.
Adam King’s expertise in criminal defense extends to representing clients charged with a wide range of offenses. His unwavering commitment to hard work ensures that each client receives the dedicated attention necessary to achieve the best possible outcome for their case.
Beyond his legal career, Adam King is deeply involved in his community, with notable achievements including his participation in Leadership Augusta, recognition as one of Augusta Magazine’s Top 10 in 10 Young Professionals to Watch, and his involvement with the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association and the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association Political Action Committee. Adam also dedicates his time to charitable endeavors, having served as a former Board Member of Easter Seals of East Georgia and as an active member of Journey Community Church.
